Buying and selling on Arbitrum is back
You can trade crypto on Arbitrum from the Buy and Sell screens again. Before you confirm, the app warns you when a trade would have a large price impact, so you can decide whether to go ahead. Open a crypto asset's Buy or Sell screen, review the warning and confirm.
Update to version 1.21.0 or later to use Arbitrum trading, photo and withdrawal scanning, bank verification, deposit QR sharing, payment request links and the bank-account country list. Older versions will ask you to update.
Statements that help you recognise a payment
For transfers between Cadmos Pay users, your own statement now shows the other person's account number. That gives you a clearer record when you need to check who you paid. Open Services, choose Account Statement and tap Generate. The statement covers the past month and is saved as a PDF.
Scan payment details from a photo
If a payment QR code is saved on your phone, you can now scan it from your photos when paying someone or withdrawing USDC or USDT. Open the scanner, choose "Scan from photos" and pick the photo. For a withdrawal, select the asset and network first.
Withdrawal scanning also recognises Solana and Tron addresses, and the app checks the address against the network you selected before it requests a quote. The photo must contain a single QR code, and to pay someone the code must be a payment request. If a code is for a different asset or network, the app stops and explains why.
Clearer bank verification
Bank verification now explains its two stages: your identity check, then a final review. After you upload documents, the app shows them as syncing, so you know they are being processed and don't need to start over. Identity-document uploads are also more reliable.
When something needs correcting, you update only the requested answers, and the details already accepted stay in place. A rejection is often not final, and the status screen shows the reasons that can be shared with you. Open the bank verification status screen and follow the guidance. If a check needs attention or takes longer than expected, tap Contact Support.
Your Standard card is ready, with Apple Wallet guidance
When a newly issued Cadmos Standard card is ready, you now receive a "Your Cadmos Standard card is ready" notification. On iPhone with a Lebanese (+961) phone number, the notification and an email also explain how to add the card to Apple Wallet.
When you add the card to Apple Wallet, select Email to receive your verification code. The email is titled "Add your Cadmos Standard card to Apple Wallet". Premium cards and cards issued earlier don't get this message.
Also improved
Sharing your deposit QR now sends an image of the code, with your address as text in the message. Shared payment request links open correctly on iPhone. When you add a bank account to withdraw to, you can choose the country from a list; entering an IBAN preselects it, and you can change it. Cards are now named Standard and Premium in the app's card catalogue and on your existing cards.
A new wallet recovery guide, "Keep your seed safe. Keep your money safe.", explains how your seed protects your wallet and how recovery works. You'll find it in Wallet documentation, in English, Spanish, French, Arabic and Brazilian Portuguese.
