Cadmos Pay - Self-Custodial Wallet

Short description:

Your self-custodial wallet for transfers, stablecoins, and decentralized finance

Full description:

Cadmos Pay is a self-custodial wallet. Your signing keys stay under your control, and Cadmos cannot move, freeze, or trade your wallet balance.

The Cadmos smart wallet operates on Arbitrum. The app can also receive and send supported stablecoins through several external networks, including Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain (BSC), Solana, Tron, and others. The networks available for a particular deposit or withdrawal are listed in the app.

You can:

  • Send free Cadmos-to-Cadmos transfers, usually confirmed in 2–3 seconds on Arbitrum
  • Receive and send USDT or USDC through supported blockchain networks
  • Use eligible bank-account details and local payment or cash methods supplied by partners
  • Choose swaps or yield opportunities in the Invest section

Whether yield is automatic depends on the product and conditions currently shown in the app. The app states which balances are eligible, whether activation or approval is required, the rate, fees, provider or protocol, and withdrawal conditions.

Availability varies by country, eligibility, partner, and payment rail. Cadmos is never the trading or fiat counterparty. A regulated partner may provide a bank, card, cash, or conversion service under its own terms.

Full FAQ

Below are detailed answers to common questions. For quick references, see Quick FAQ above.

General & Key Info

1 – Is there a fee for Cadmos-to-Cadmos transfers?

No. Transfers between Cadmos users are free. Fiat deposits, bank withdrawals, cash services, card services, and external blockchain transfers can have fees. The app shows the applicable fee before you confirm.

2 – Who can use this wallet?

Availability depends on your country, applicable law, app-store access, and the eligibility rules for the feature you want to use. Bank, cash, card, and conversion partners support different countries and may require KYC and AML checks. Check the options shown in your app.

3 – What does self-custody mean?

You control the signing keys for your Cadmos wallet. Cadmos cannot move or freeze the wallet balance and never acts as your trading counterparty. Your wallet remains accessible onchain with valid recovery material, even if the Cadmos interface is unavailable.

If the Cadmos app or services are unavailable, connect your signatory wallet to the open-source Cadmos emergency recovery page. It prepares onchain recovery transactions that return eligible assets to that signatory address. You can inspect and download the Cadmos Pay Recovery source code on GitHub.

Money sent to a third-party bank, cash, or card service is governed by that provider’s terms while it processes the transaction. Review the provider and fee shown before you proceed.

4 – What happens if I lose my phone?

Your signing key is stored securely on your phone. If you lose or replace the device, use the recovery method chosen during setup:

  1. Restore with saved recovery material

    • Enter the encrypted recovery phrase or 12-word seed shown during setup.
  2. Use assisted recovery in Simple mode

    • This option is available only if Simple mode was enabled.
    • Identity checks and a minimum 7-day onchain security period apply before new signing keys can control the wallet.
    • Cadmos still cannot move the wallet balance. The recovered signing key remains under your control.

Recovery modes

ModeHow recovery worksWhat you must protect
Simple modeSaved recovery material, with assisted recovery available after checks and the security periodYour saved recovery material and device access
Self-managedRestore with the 12-word seedThe seed; a lost seed cannot be recovered by Cadmos

5 – How do I reset my password?

There is no Cadmos password to reset. Standard email access uses a one-time code sent to your email, followed by phone verification through WhatsApp or SMS when offered. Apple and Google access continues directly to phone verification. Your phone holds the wallet signing key in secure storage, and device biometrics can protect local approvals. See Q15.

6 - What can I invest in?

Yield availability depends on the products and conditions currently shown in the app. The Invest section may list token swaps and yield-bearing products. Each product states which balances are eligible and whether activation, approval, or a separate deposit is required. Available assets, protocols, rates, and eligibility can change.

7 - What currencies does Cadmos Pay support?

Cadmos supports USDT and USDC deposits or withdrawals through the blockchain networks listed in the app, including Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain (BSC), Solana, Tron, and others.

Eligible users can also request local bank-account details or payment rails for EUR, USD, GBP, BRL, and MXN. The relevant rails include SEPA, ACH or wire, Faster Payments, Pix, and SPEI. Partner availability, KYC, fees, and limits apply.

8 - Where are the underlying dollars secured?

USDT is issued by Tether, and USDC is issued by Circle. Cadmos does not issue or guarantee either stablecoin. The issuer controls its reserves and redemption terms. Review the issuer’s current disclosures, including Tether’s transparency page, before holding a stablecoin.

Stablecoins can lose their peg and are not covered by bank-deposit insurance. Issuer, reserve, market, smart-contract, and network risks apply.

9 - In what languages is Cadmos Pay available?

The mobile app currently supports English, French, Arabic, and Spanish. This website also publishes its main pages, documentation, and articles in Brazilian Portuguese. In the app, go to Settings > Language & Display to change the app language.

10 – How does Cadmos Pay technically work?

Cadmos Pay creates an account-abstracted smart wallet on Arbitrum. A signing key held in your phone’s secure storage authorizes its transactions.

The app can route deposits and withdrawals through supported external networks. That list is supplied to the app and can include Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain (BSC), Solana, Tron, and others. Select the network in the deposit or withdrawal flow and use the address or instructions generated for that network.

View your Cadmos wallet address from the QR-code control on the home screen or under Profile > Addresses. A network-specific deposit route may show a different address. Copy the address from the active flow.

11 – Where can I report a bug?

Email info@cadmos.finance.

12 – How can I open a support ticket?

Go to Settings, tap Support Tickets under Help Center, and fill in the details. For transaction issues, include the transaction hash found in the transaction’s advanced detail page.

13 – What is your roadmap? What functionalities will you soon add?

Product availability in the current app is authoritative. We do not promise unreleased features or dates in this FAQ. Updates appear in the app and its store release notes.

Creating & Accessing Your Account

14 – How do I create a Cadmos Pay account?

  1. Download and install

    • Find Cadmos Pay in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Verify your contact details

    • With standard email access, confirm the email code, then verify your phone through WhatsApp or SMS when offered.
    • With Apple or Google, continue directly to phone verification.
  3. Choose a recovery setup

    • Simple mode includes assisted recovery after identity checks and a minimum 7-day security period.
    • Self-managed mode relies on your 12-word seed and has no assisted seed recovery.
  4. Create the signing key

    • The app generates the signing key on your device and saves it in the device’s secure storage.
  5. Save the recovery material

    • Follow the screen for the mode you selected. A cloud backup, when offered and selected, contains encrypted recovery material.
    • Keep a 12-word seed offline. Never send a seed or recovery phrase to support.
  6. Deploy the wallet

    • The smart wallet is deployed on Arbitrum and appears on the home screen.

15 – How do I log into Cadmos Pay?

With standard email access, enter the one-time code sent to your email, then verify your phone through WhatsApp or SMS when offered.

With Apple or Google, the provider confirms the email identity and Cadmos Pay continues directly to phone verification.

The device also needs a valid signing key to authorize wallet transactions. If the key is unavailable, use the recovery flow. Device biometrics can protect local approvals.

16 – Can I change my email or phone number?

Yes. When logged into Cadmos Pay, you can request changes by:

  1. Tapping on Settings (bottom-right).
  2. Selecting Profile in the Account Settings subsection.
  3. Tapping the Edit button (top-right).
  4. Choosing to change your email or phone, then passing biometric authentication.
  5. Verifying two new OTPs:
    • If changing email: OTPs go to your phone and new email.
    • If changing phone: OTPs go to your email and new phone.

17 – What do I do if I lost access to my email or phone number?

  • If you still have access to your account (via biometric login), change your registered email or phone immediately.
  • Otherwise, contact info@cadmos.finance. Identity checks may be required. Contact-detail recovery does not give Cadmos control of the wallet signing key.

18 – What if I lost access to my phone or deleted the app?

If you lose or replace the phone that held your signing key:

  1. Verify your email and phone

    • The app opens the recovery screen when it cannot find an authorized signing key on the device.
  2. Restore access

    • Enter the encrypted recovery phrase or 12-word seed you saved.
    • If Simple mode was enabled and the saved material is unavailable, request assisted recovery. Identity checks and the minimum security period apply.

19 – What is the recovery process timeframe?

For assisted recovery in Simple mode:

  • A 7-day timelock is mandatory before adding a new signatory to your smart contract.
  • This timelock can’t be expedited, even in emergencies.
  • You must complete the required identity checks, which can include a document and proof of liveness.
  • Use only the verified in-app support channel or info@cadmos.finance.

20 – How do I enable/disable biometric login?

Cadmos Pay follows your device’s biometric policy. To enable or disable biometric login in the app, you must enable or disable biometrics at the device level.

Transfers & Payments

21 – What payment methods can I use to top up my wallet?

You can top up your Cadmos Pay wallet using:

  • USDT or USDC from another wallet or exchange, using a network listed in the deposit screen. Supported routes can include Arbitrum, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain (BSC), Solana, Tron, and others.
  • Bank transfer, for eligible users. Virtual account details and local rails can be available in EUR, USD, GBP, BRL, and MXN, including SEPA, ACH or wire, Faster Payments, Pix, and SPEI.
  • Local payment or cash methods, supplied through Cadmos’ partner network where available.

Use the address and network generated by the active deposit flow. Partner methods have their own eligibility rules, processing times, fees, and limits. Cadmos places no balance or transaction-volume cap on the self-custodial wallet.

22 – I sent USDT/USDC to my Cadmos Wallet Address on the wrong chain. Can I recover it?

Possibly. Cadmos can manually recover some funds sent directly to a Cadmos Wallet Address on Ethereum, Optimism, Polygon, Base, or BNB Smart Chain instead of the network-specific bridge address shown in the deposit flow. Recovery depends on technical checks and is not guaranteed.

See our cross-chain recovery guide for the standard recovery flow and published fee schedule. A transfer to a different protocol or smart-contract address is outside that standard flow, requires individual assessment, and may be unrecoverable. If a technically possible exceptional recovery requires a different fee, Cadmos will quote it for your acceptance before work begins; it will not be added retroactively. No fee is charged if recovery does not succeed.

Contact support with the transaction hash, sending network, token, amount, and destination address. Do not send further assets to the same address while the request is being assessed. Always verify the network and address before sending tokens.

23 – What methods are available to withdraw from my wallet?

The withdrawal screen can offer:

  • USDT or USDC to an external wallet through a supported network, including Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain (BSC), Solana, Tron, and others
  • Bank payout through an eligible partner rail
  • Local payment or cash payout through the partner network in supported countries

The app shows the recipient details, network, estimated amount, fee, minimum, and any partner limit before confirmation. Cadmos does not impose a maximum wallet balance or transaction-volume limit.

24 – I used a bank or partner deposit method but don’t see the funds.

Bank, card, and conversion services are handled by the provider named in the flow. Cadmos is not the fiat or trading counterparty.

Check the operation status and the payment reference in the app. Processing time depends on the rail and provider. If the stated processing window has passed, contact the provider and open a Cadmos support ticket with the reference. Do not include a seed or private key.

25 – I withdrew funds to my bank account, but they haven’t arrived.

Check the status, recipient details, and processing window shown for that withdrawal. If the window has passed, contact the partner that processed it and open a support ticket with the operation reference.

26 – How can I deposit or withdraw funds through a local agent?

Open Add Money or Withdraw and select Local Method. The app lists methods available for your country, including partner-agent cash options where supported. It also shows the agent or provider instructions, fee, limits, and expected processing time.

The cash or local payment leg is supplied by a partner, and Cadmos does not take custody of the fiat. Your wallet balance remains self-custodial until you approve an outgoing transaction. Track the operation from its local-method history screen.

27 – Are there any transaction limits on my wallet?

Cadmos imposes no maximum balance or transaction-volume limit on the self-custodial wallet. A specific transaction can still have a minimum, network constraint, liquidity constraint, or partner limit. Bank, cash, card, and conversion providers set their own limits and eligibility rules.

28 – How can I increase my transaction limits with banking partners?

Cadmos cannot change a partner’s limit. Follow the verification or limit-review instructions shown by that provider. The review may require more identity, source-of-funds, or account information.

29 – How do I transfer funds to another Cadmos Pay user?

  1. Go to the Transfer tab in the app.
  2. Select one of the following:
    • Scan QR Code (top-right icon).
    • Choose a Contact from your list.
    • Manually Enter the recipient’s email address or phone number.
  3. Input the amount and optional transfer description, visible to both you and the recipient.

A Quick Transfer section on the homepage lets you send funds to up to five frequent recipients; you can configure it by tapping “Add New.”

30 – How can I request a transfer from another user?

  1. Open the Transfer section from the homepage.
  2. Go to the Request subsection.
  3. Enter the desired amount and an optional description.
  4. This generates a payment link or QR code to share with your contact.

31 – How long do transfers between Cadmos Pay users take?

Transfers between Cadmos Pay users are free and usually confirm in 2–3 seconds on Arbitrum. Network or service interruptions can take longer. The transfer status appears in the app.

32 – What are the minimum and maximum transfer amounts?

Cadmos has no maximum wallet balance or transaction-volume limit. The app shows any minimum that applies to the transfer. Device authentication may be required to approve it.

33 – Can I cancel a transfer once it’s sent?

No. Blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed. Always double-check the recipient’s address and amount before finalizing any transfer. The app includes built-in verification steps to help prevent errors.

34 – How do I know if my transfer was successful?

The transaction appears in History with its current status. Tap it to see the amount, recipient, reference, and blockchain details available for that transaction. Notifications depend on your device settings.

35 – Why did my transfer fail?

Transfers might fail due to:

  • Insufficient balance
  • Network congestion
  • Invalid recipient address
  • Temporary blockchain issues

The app will display a specific error message explaining the reason and possible solutions.

36 – What information do I need to make a transfer?

  • For Cadmos Pay user transfers: Go to the Transfer tab. Select a contact or enter their phone/email, input the amount, and optionally add a description (visible to both parties). If the recipient does not yet use Cadmos Pay, you can send them an invitation link.
  • For external wallet transfers: Open Withdraw, select USDT or USDC, then choose a supported network. You need the recipient address for that exact network. Cadmos supports several routes, including Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain (BSC), Solana, Tron, and others. Confirm that the receiving wallet accepts the selected token on the selected network.

37 – How do I view my transfer history?

Your full transaction history is displayed on the homepage. You may filter transactions by date or tap on any transaction for advanced details. You can also download a PDF report for each transaction by selecting “Get Report.”

38 – Can I add a note or description to my transfers?

Yes. There are two types of notes:

  • Private notes: Visible only to you. Access by tapping on a transaction, then “Add Note.”
  • Transaction descriptions: Visible to the recipient. You can add these during the transfer process.

39 – What happens if I send to the wrong address?

Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed or refunded if you send funds to an incorrect address. Cadmos Pay includes multiple prevention features:

  • Address validation checks
  • Recent recipient list
  • QR code scanning to avoid typing errors
  • Warnings for first-time addresses

If you send funds to the wrong address, there is no way to recover them, including through Cadmos support. Always verify the entire address carefully. Send a small test amount first and save frequent addresses in your address book.

Fees & Pricing

40 – Are there any hidden fees?

The app shows the applicable fee before confirmation. Depending on the service, it can include:

  1. Partner fees for bank, cash, card, or conversion services
  2. Network or bridge fees for an external blockchain transfer
  3. Protocol and swap fees for an investment or trade

Cadmos-to-Cadmos transfers are free. A card product can have separate charges, including a cross-border fee, shown in its card terms.

41 – What are the fees for topping up my wallet?

Top-up fees vary by:

  • Currency
  • Payment Method
  • Banking Partner

These fees are set by the provider and shown in the app before confirmation. Compare the final amount and processing time for the methods available to you.

42 – What are the withdrawal fees?

Withdrawal fees also vary by:

  • Currency
  • Payment Method
  • Banking Partner

All fees and minimum withdrawal amounts are shown upfront. You will see exactly how much you’ll receive after fees, before confirming the transaction.

43 – How are network (gas) fees handled?

  • Cadmos-to-Cadmos transfers: Free to the user.
  • DeFi operations: The app shows the applicable fee before approval.
  • External transfers: The confirmation screen shows the applicable network or bridge fee.

44 – Why do fees vary between different payment methods?

Fees differ due to:

  • Payment processor charges
  • Processing time and security
  • Regional banking infrastructure
  • Risk level associated with each payment method

The provider or protocol sets these costs. Compare the final amount, settlement time, and terms shown in the app.

45 – Are there any monthly or annual fees?

The self-custodial wallet has no monthly, annual, maintenance, inactivity, or minimum-balance fee. Cadmos-to-Cadmos transfers are free.

Third-party bank, cash, conversion, investment, and card services have separate terms. A card product may include issuance, top-up, monthly, foreign-exchange, transaction, or cross-border charges. Review the product details before using it.

Security & Privacy

46 – How is my personal information protected?

Cadmos uses technical and organizational controls described in the Privacy Policy. Wallet signing material is kept in the device’s secure storage. A recovery backup, when you choose one, is encrypted before it is stored with the supported cloud provider.

For a data-access or deletion request, follow the Privacy Policy and contact info@cadmos.finance. Legal retention duties can limit deletion.

47 – What information does Cadmos collect?

The categories depend on the features you use and are listed in the Privacy Policy. They can include contact details, device and security information, support records, and transaction information.

When identity verification applies, Cadmos or the relevant provider can process an identity document, verification results, and proof of liveness. The flow identifies the provider and governing terms.

Cadmos does not receive your unencrypted private key, seed phrase, device passcode, or biometric template. Never send recovery material to Cadmos or a partner.

48 – What security measures are in place?

Cadmos Pay uses email and phone verification, device secure storage, optional biometric approval, and smart-contract controls. Published smart-contract audit material is available from the HHK audit repository.

Security also depends on your phone, email, mobile number, recovery material, the networks you use, and any third-party service you select.

49 – Can someone hack my wallet?

No wallet is immune to theft, malware, phishing, compromised recovery material, smart-contract defects, or network failures. Your main controls are:

  1. Your Device and its signing wallet (protected by 2FA and/or biometrics)
  2. Your Recovery Keys (seed phrase or recovery phrase)

Keep both private and keep the app and operating system updated. Never share a seed phrase or recovery phrase, including with Cadmos support.

50 – What if someone steals my phone?

Use your saved recovery material on a secure device, or start assisted recovery if Simple mode was enabled. Contact info@cadmos.finance through a trusted device. If the signing key or seed may be exposed, move the wallet balance to a newly secured wallet as soon as you safely regain control.

Cadmos cannot remotely freeze the self-custodial wallet. A device passcode, biometric lock, and the app’s contact verification reduce the risk of unauthorized local access.

51 – How secure is two-factor authentication?

Standard email access checks an email code followed by phone verification. Apple and Google access uses the provider identity followed by phone verification. Protect your email, provider account, and phone number, and report a lost number or compromised account promptly. Contact verification protects app access; the wallet signing key and recovery material protect onchain control.

52 – Can I view my recovery phrase or seed?

Yes. Go to Settings > Security. You can view:

  • Recovery Phrase (encrypted key): Quick restore option
  • Seed Phrase (12 words, self-managed mode): Full control over the wallet

Remember:

  • No legitimate service will ever ask for your seed
  • Store it offline in a secure location. Never store it digitally or take screenshots
  • If someone claims they need your seed to help you; they are trying to steal your funds
  • Cadmos team will never DM you or ask for your seed

53 – How often should I back up my wallet?

A single backup during setup is enough:

  • All Modes: Your encrypted recovery phrase is generated automatically; store it in a secure location.
  • Self-managed mode: Write down your 12-word seed and keep it offline.

You do not need repeated backups unless you change devices or keys.

54 – What should I do if I suspect my account is compromised?

It depends on the type of compromise:

  1. Email/Phone

    • Immediately change them via the app or contact support if locked out.
  2. Seed Phrase Exposure

    • Move all funds to a new secure wallet if possible.
    • Contact info@cadmos.finance or open a support ticket in Settings > Help Center.

Note: If your seed phrase is compromised, an attacker may still access your funds via the blockchain, regardless of front-end restrictions.

55 – How do I freeze my account in an emergency?

Cadmos Pay is fully self-custodial, so Cadmos cannot freeze the wallet or stop a valid signing key from submitting a transaction.

If your device or recovery material may be compromised, recover the wallet from a secure device and move the balance to a new wallet. A bank, cash, or card partner may be able to restrict its own separate service under its terms; contact that provider directly.

Investing & DeFi

56 – What Decentralized Finance opportunities can I access?

Open Invest to see the assets and protocols currently available to your account. Depending on availability, the app can list token swaps, decentralized lending, and tokenized Treasury products.

The app explains how each opportunity applies to your balance, including eligibility and whether activation, approval, or a separate deposit is required. Cadmos provides the interface and never becomes your trading counterparty.

Disclaimer: DeFi is inherently risky. Protocols can fail, and tokens can lose value. Do thorough research.

57 – How can I generate yield on my Cadmos balance?

Open Invest > Earn and review the opportunities currently listed. Select one to see its provider or protocol, asset, quoted rate, fees, withdrawal terms, eligible balances, and any required activation, approval, or deposit.

Rates are variable, availability can change, and returns are not guaranteed. Protocol, issuer, stablecoin, liquidity, and smart-contract risks apply.

58 – How can I buy or sell cryptos?

Within Invest, open the crypto portfolio or Trade to:

  1. Choose a crypto (BTC, ETH, etc.).
  2. View real-time exchange rates and fees.
  3. Confirm your trade.

The quote shows the amount and applicable fees before approval. Cadmos routes the transaction through the identified protocol or provider and does not trade against you.

59 – Can I directly deposit or withdraw cryptos from Cadmos Pay?

The direct deposit and withdrawal flow supports USDT and USDC on the networks currently listed in the app. Those routes can include Arbitrum, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain (BSC), Solana, Tron, and others. An asset available for trading in Invest is not necessarily available for direct deposit or withdrawal.

60 – My trade failed. What can I do?

A trade can fail if:

  • The Price Changed: Try again with updated prices.
  • Slippage Too High: Your trade size exceeds current market liquidity. Try a smaller amount.
  • Network Congestion: Wait and retry.

61 – How can I access my investment transaction history?

Investment operations, including trades and deposits into or withdrawals from an Earn product, appear in:

  1. General Wallet History (homepage).
  2. “Invest Transaction History” (tap the clock icon at the top right of the Invest page).

62 – I just invested, and my account balance is lower!

An approved investment moves value from the available wallet balance into the selected token or protocol. The home-screen wallet balance therefore falls by the invested amount. Open Invest to see the recorded investment value. Market prices and protocol accounting can cause that value to change.

Troubleshooting & Common Issues

63 – What should I do if I encounter a “Network connectivity issue”?

  1. Check your internet connection.
  2. Ensure you have the latest version of the app.
  3. Retry the operation after a few minutes.
  4. If issues persist, please contact support.

64 – What does “slippage too high” mean when trading?

It indicates your trade size is too high relative to the current market depth and it moves the token’s price beyond your acceptable threshold. To resolve:

  1. Reduce your trade size.
  2. Retry with updated market prices.
  3. Break large trades into smaller chunks.

65 – Can I use Cadmos Pay on multiple devices?

Each device that authorizes wallet transactions needs a valid signing key. Restore with your saved recovery material on a new device, or use assisted recovery if Simple mode was enabled. Treat every authorized device as sensitive.

66 – Can I use Cadmos Pay offline?

No. A stable internet connection is required to communicate with the blockchain and our systems.

Regulatory & Compliance

67 – Is Cadmos Pay a regulated financial service?

Cadmos Pay provides self-custodial wallet software. Cadmos does not hold or control the wallet balance and never acts as the user’s trading or fiat counterparty.

Bank, cash, card, conversion, and other regulated services are supplied by the provider identified in the relevant flow, under that provider’s terms. Regulatory treatment depends on the service and jurisdiction.

68 – Where can I use Cadmos Pay?

Wallet availability depends on local law and app-store access. Each bank, cash, card, conversion, blockchain route, and investment feature has its own country and eligibility coverage. The options shown in your app reflect the services available for your account at that time.

69 – Do I need to complete KYC verification to use Cadmos Pay?

KYC requirements depend on the feature and jurisdiction. Identity verification can apply to assisted wallet recovery, cards, bank rails, cash services, conversions, and other regulated partner services.

The process can require a government-issued identity document, personal information, and proof of liveness. The app identifies the responsible provider and shows the required steps before you enter that service.

70 – Which regulated partners handle traditional banking services?

Open the relevant deposit, withdrawal, local-method, or card flow to see the provider available to you. Each provider:

  • Has its own KYC requirements.
  • Enforces its own compliance rules.
  • Operates in specific regions.
  • Handles all fiat-related transactions independently.

71 – Does Cadmos Pay provide tax reporting documents?

Cadmos does not prepare or file your tax return. Your onchain records and in-app transaction history may help, and a partner may issue records for operations it processed. You are responsible for determining and meeting the tax rules that apply to you. Consult a qualified adviser in your jurisdiction.

72 – Can I use Cadmos Pay for my business?

The accounts described in this FAQ are personal accounts. Do not use a personal account for business activity unless the current terms and the app expressly allow it. Contact info@cadmos.finance before relying on Cadmos for business use.

Cards

73 – Which Cadmos card products are available?

The app has two card products: Premium and Standard. Premium is the Visa Signature card described on the Premium benefits page. Standard is a separate product issued as Visa or Mastercard, and the app shows the network assigned to the card. The order screen lists the cost, limits, capabilities, and KYC requirements for each product.

74 – Can I add a Cadmos card to Apple Pay?

The Standard card supports Apple Pay for eligible users in both its Visa and Mastercard versions.

If the iPhone Wallet app does not show the option, change the iPhone’s Region in Settings > General > Language & Region to a country where Apple Pay is supported. Add the card, then change the phone region back. Do not change the Apple Account country or region.

Apple Pay and issuer eligibility still apply. Follow the card instructions shown in the app.

75 – How do the card programs and cross-border fees work?

Premium and Standard are offered through separate international card programs. Standard provides the Apple Pay route described in Q74. A purchase carries the cross-border fee stated for the selected card when the card program treats that purchase as cross-border.

Your Cadmos wallet balance remains self-custodial until you approve a card top-up. The loaded amount then becomes a balance in the relevant card program. The applicable app screens and terms identify the provider, fees, limits, custody of the loaded balance, and transaction conditions before you proceed.
